According to Manningham Eyewatch, on December 13, a 61-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted by two offenders during a carjacking in Doncaster and suffered minor injuries as a result.
Her stolen Mercedes had live tracking and was recovered by Police later that day.
On December 17, Manningham Crime Investigation Unit executed a search warrant at an address in Vermont South, where they arrested and charged a 25-year-old woman with carjacking.
Following this, on December 20, Manningham Crime Investigation Unit executed another search warrant at an address in Noble Park, where a 24-year-old man was arrested, charged with carjacking and remanded in custody.
Both offenders are yet to appear before the Heidelberg Magistrates' Court in the new year.
