A 51-year-old man from Laverton has been charged after an attempted burglary at a home on Foote Street in Templestowe, on 27 August at around 2:35pm.
The alleged offender was found in nearby Glendale Avenue and was arrested by Manningham Detectives.
The man was charged with Attempted Burglary, Possession of a controlled weapon, Possession of Methylamphetamine and Handling of Stolen Goods.
The 51-year-old is bailed to appear at the Heidelberg Magistrates' Court on 13 December 2024.
