According to Manningham Eyewatch, Police are wanting to speak with an elderly couple after they assisted a 12-year-old girl at Tunstall Square Shopping Centre, Doncaster East.
The incident occurred on Sunday October 27, 2024 at around 3:30pm when an unknown man began speaking to the young girl.
It has been alleged that the man brushed his hand against her and tried to have a conversation.
According to Police, an elderly couple noticed the incident unfold and proceeded to intervene by asking the girl if she knew the man and if she was okay.
Police are asking for the couple that assisted to come forward and contact Detective Senior Constable Walton at Box Hill SOCIT on 8892 3292.
Police also urge anyone who attended Tunstall Square that day and recall the incident happening to please give them a call.
