According to Manningham Eyewatch, on December 25 at around 3am, Police received reports that a small fire had been deliberately lit out the front of a fast-food business on Doncaster Road in Doncaster East.
Burnt underpants were found nearby.
Emergency services were quick to attend the scene and the fire was extinguished immediately.
Police believe the offender may have set themselves alight, given that burnt shoes, pants and jocks were discovered at the scene.
