Four men arrested after allegedly committing more than 20 burglaries across Melbourne's East

According to Victoria Police, four foreign nationals from the United Kingdom, have allegedly committed more than 20 burglaries across Melbourne's East.

The offences occurred between the months of April and July this year, with the four foreigners allegedly stealing more than $500,000 worth of possessions, including, cash, jewellery, watches and handbags.

Police allege the four men used cleaning products to cover their tracks, after targeting homes in Doncaster, Burwood, Forest Hill, Epping, Mount Waverley, Mill Park, Hillside, Craigieburn, Hoppers Crossing and Tarneit.

Majority of the alleged offences occurred while householders were away, however the group of four also allegedly committed two home invasions and one aggravated burglary.
