The thieves are typically looking for expensive items including designer handbags, jewellery and cash.
Some tips from Manningham Police:
- Get creative with hiding places
- If you have designer handbags consider concealing luggage trackers in them
- Safes should be secured (thieves have been known to drag them out)
- Look out for unusual/suspicious activity (If someone knocks on your door then leaves when they realise you're home)
