According to Manningham Eyewatch, on January 13 it's alleged an 18-year-old man entered a Bulleen home during the early hours of the morning through an unlocked garage door.
The offender stole a handbag, car keys and a car.
At around 7am, Police were called after receiving a report that a vehicle was driving high speed on the Eastern Freeway.
The stolen vehicle was then later located by Nunawading Highway Patrol, where it was found parked outside a fast-food restaurant on Blackburn Road, Doncaster East.
A man from Healesville was arrested and charged with Aggravated Burglary and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
