According to Manningham Eyewatch, at around 8:40am on November 5, a home on Ironbark Drive in Templestowe Lower was allegedly broken into.
Neighbours heard a window being smashed and spotted a man jumping the back fence.
After dialling Triple Zero (000) Doncaster Police quickly arrived at the scene and arrested a man nearby in Eucalypt Avenue.
A 23-year-old man from Templestowe Lower has been charged with Burglary and remanded in custody to appear before the Heidelberg Magistrates' Court.
