According to 7NEWS, on February 20 around 3:45 am a car smashed into Westfield Doncaster Post Office, causing severe damage to the shopfront.
The passenger in the vehicle entered the post office and stole collectable coins before fleeing the scene.
Police are investigating the incident and anyone who witnessed the attack or has any footage have been urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
